The Upload Link offers you a simple and secure way to upload documents directly to the cloud.
This is a URL address that you can pass on to anyone - including third parties.

The Upload Link is the content counterpart to the External Link, which you use to provide content from the cloud via a URL.

Security and configuration

You can protect and customise the Upload Link individually.
There are several options available for this:

  • Password protection: Only people with the password can upload files.

  • Validity period: The link can only be used for a certain period of time.

  • Number of uploads: Specify the maximum number of uploads that are possible.

  • Maximum data volume: Limit the total upload volume.

  • Changes to the configuration take effect immediately.

  • The URL remains unchanged so that you do not have to send a new link.

  • If you delete the link, the URL becomes permanently invalid.

  • A new URL is generated when a new upload link is created.

Advantages over e-mail

In contrast to sending by e-mail, the upload link offers several advantages:

  • Encrypted data transfer - for maximum security.

  • No size limit - even large files can be uploaded.

  • Reliable storage - files are stored directly in the cloud.

Create upload link

  1. Open Import in the menu bar of a collection.

  2. Select Create upload link.

  3. Configure the content and restrictions.

  4. Select Create upload link.

Once created, you can share the link immediately.

Upload link overview

If upload links already exist, you can call them up via
Import .

In the overview you can:

  1. Copy the URL address.

  2. Change the settings.

  3. Delete the link.

An upload link could look like this, for example:
https://upload.scopevisio-documents.com/d7cf2184-7ff5-4f82-bc5c-830552da10

Practical examples

You publish a job advertisement and provide applicants with an upload link.
This allows them to upload their documents securely.

Advantages:

  • Application documents are transmitted in encrypted form.

  • Large files (e.g. application videos) can also be uploaded.

  • You decide in which folder the files are saved.

  • You can flexibly adjust the validity of the link - without a new URL.

You provide an interested party with blank forms via an external link.
The interested party then uploads the completed forms again via an upload link.

Advantages:

  • The documents are transmitted in encrypted form.

  • You specify the folder in which the files are saved.

  • You can assign keywords (tags) to the uploaded documents so that they can be found again quickly later.

Summary

  • The upload link enables secure, direct cloud uploads via URL.

  • You can configure the link individually and protect it with a password or expiry date.

  • Changes take effect immediately, the URL remains stable.

  • The link is permanently deactivated when deleted.

  • Ideal for the secure exchange of large or confidential files.
