Overview

You will see the data grid in the centre of the user interface. This is your central workspace for documents.

What does the data grid show you?

The data grid provides you with the following information:

  • All documents in the currently selected collection

  • The document list in a clear table format

  • The total number of documents managed in this collection

You can customise the display to suit your needs:

  • Sort the documents according to various criteria

  • Manage your view individually

  • Capture all important information at a glance

Use the search function

Search directly in the collection

The search bar is already preconfigured for you:

  • The currently open collection is automatically stored as a filter

  • You can search directly in this collection

  • Your search results are limited to the selected collection

Add further filters

You can refine your search if required:

  1. Click on the filter button next to the search field

  2. Select additional filter criteria

  3. Narrow down your search results further

You can upload additional files via the menu bar:

  1. Click on the corresponding button in the menu bar

  3. The files are linked to the collection

Create upload link

You can enable other people to upload documents:

What is an upload link?

  • An upload link allows other people to upload documents to Scopevisio Documents on your behalf

  • The persons do not need their own account

Security settings: You can secure the upload link:

  • Limit the validity of the link (time limit)

  • Limit the data volume (size of the files that can be uploaded)

  • You retain full control over the upload process

How to create an upload link:

  1. Click on the option to create an upload link in the menu bar

  2. Set the desired restrictions

  3. Share the generated link with the desired people

Tip: Upload links are particularly useful for collaborating with external partners or customers who do not have access to Scopevisio Documents.
