Overview
The document log shows you all events and activities related to a specific document. This allows you to trace the entire history of a document.
Open document log
How to access the log of a document:
Step 1: Select document
Select the desired document with a click.
Step 2: Open the log
Click on the "Log" tab in the preview.
What does the document log show?
The log shows you all events that are directly related to the document.
Typical logged events
The system documents the following activities, among others:
Creation: when and by whom the document was uploaded
Versions: When new versions were uploaded
Changes: What changes were made to metadata
Releases: When the document was released to users or groups
Accesses: Who viewed or downloaded the document
Comments: When comments were created, modified or deleted
Requests: Which requests were created for the document
Annotations: When PDF annotations were made
Moves: When the document was moved to other collections
Chronological display
All events are listed chronologically
The most recent events appear at the top
Each entry shows the date, time and responsible user
