Overview

You can add comments to documents. Comments are visible to all users who have access to the document.


Create a comment

How to comment on a document:

Step 1: Select document

Select the desired document with a click.

Step 2: Open comments

Click on the "Comments" tab.

Step 3: Write a comment

  1. Enter your comment in the text field

  2. Click on "Send"

  3. The comment is saved immediately and is visible to all authorised users


Important information about comments

Version reference

  • Comments always refer to the current version of the document

  • If a new version is uploaded, the comments from the previous version are retained

  • You can see which document version a comment belongs to

Visibility

  • All users who have access to the document can see the comments

  • Comments are not private or only visible to certain people


Edit and delete comments

You have the option of managing your own comments:

Edit your own comments

  1. Open the comments section of the document

  2. Search for your comment

  3. Click on the edit option

  4. Change the text according to your wishes

  5. Save the change

Delete your own comments

  1. Open the comments section of the document

  2. Search for your comment

  3. Click on the delete option

  4. Confirm the deletion

Important: You can only edit or delete your own comments. You cannot edit comments from other users.

What is logged?

  • Every new comment created

  • Every change to a comment

  • Every deletion of a comment

Where can I find the log?

  • All comment activities are recorded in the document log

  • You can see in the log who created, changed or deleted which comment and when

  • This ensures complete transparency and traceability
