What is a transition?
A transition is the arrow that connects one status with the next status. The direction of the arrow indicates the direction in which the transition is executed.
How do you create a transition?
You create a transition in two steps:
Use the mouse to drag an arrow from one status to the next status
Configure the transition in the workflow editor on the right-hand side
How do you control the order of the transitions?
You can control the display order of the transitions in the user interface using the "Sort index" option.
Sorting logic
Sorting works according to the following rules:
Ascending sorting: Transitions with a low number are displayed first
If the sort index is identical: the transitions are sorted alphabetically
Example: A transition with a sort index of 1 appears before a transition with a sort index of 5.
